What this app collects
Trove: Scan, Value & Collect does not collect, sell, or share personal information. There is no account, no analytics SDK, and no advertising SDK. Information the app uses stays on your iPhone. Aivana cannot see it.
Permissions
iOS will ask before the app uses a protected permission. You can change that later in Settings, Privacy & Security.
- Camera. Used so you can photograph an item to identify. You can deny this and choose a photo from the library instead, if you allow photo access.
- Photo Library. Used so you can pick a picture of an item. Trove does not need your whole library for any other purpose.
Purchases and subscriptions
Optional purchases are billed by Apple, not by Aivana LLC. We never receive your card number, billing address, or Apple ID password.
To restore a purchase, open the app on the iPhone that uses the same Apple ID, and use Restore Purchases if the app shows it. You can also look under Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
To cancel a subscription, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and cancel there. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Lens Scan Pro (weekly). Optional subscription billed by Apple. It unlocks the Pro scan features. Apple sets the price, and the price can change by country.
- Lens Scan Pro (yearly). The same optional subscription, billed yearly by Apple instead of weekly.
How to delete information
We do not keep a copy of what you do in the app, so there is nothing for us to erase on a server. Delete the app to remove its local data from that iPhone.
Deleting the app does not delete contacts stored in iCloud or another account, photos in your library, or a subscription billed by Apple.
Children
Trove is not directed at children under 13. We do not collect personal information from anyone.
